Admittedly useful little app. But the best of its kind.

Been a happy Inventory X user for xv years - incredibly useful at spotting those infinite hogging files that you'd completely forgotten about! I don't go the negative reviews at all - anyone who knows how to use this properly probable finds it indispensable at some point or other... thanks derlien (the developers)

I think it's immensely frustrating. I read all of the reviews proverb how handy information technology is, and I tin can't make it do one darn thing. How does one get aid around this place or find out how to use this affair?

Great app - you can trash it from the drop downward list, unless it needs permissions, in which case y'all tin can 'run across in finder'. Highly reccommended to check your bulldoze for files taking up space. This software made it easy for me to localize a lot of huge files that I did not need any more.

Disk Inventory Ten is the all-time of both worlds, giving you lot both text listings of files and folders too as graphical representations. The simply feature I tin recommend would be the ability to select multiple files within a folder for deletion.

Written too much today to be too erudite. Lots of peachy piece of cake-to-use features here though the treemap and icon ARE ugly. Customizeable colors would be a start. An update with Quick-Wait integration would exist brilliant!

This was an invaluable tool for me to notice a hidden volume of former video crap (75 gigs!) and delete it. Cheers for freeing up my hard bulldoze to process everything!

For anyone who comes from OS ix and has used disk surveyor in the past, this app is a bit disruptive graphically (only files are displayed graphically, and not folders sadly). I accept also used an app called Disk Sweeper which I thought was more intuitive, and Grand Perspective which I thought was faster to load and used less CPU.

doesn't get much easier than this...seriously. I used information technology, and 20 minutes later have cleared 20GB abroad of *stuff*.

This app is superb! Information technology'due south amazing how something so simple can be so jaw-droppingly useful... I freed upwardly 6GB on my 40GB iBook the get-go time I ran it, on superfluous spuff that I didn't have whatsoever idea was eating up that much room. This app is a "must have".

This programme is a GODSEND! I can't believe it is free. And it is GORGEOUS! Seriously, this program is the absolute all-time way to run into what is taking up space on your Hard disk drive. It works wonderfully/amazingly/beautifully. I am happy to have it. It is my friend. Thank you. OH, and the plugin idea works perfectly (gives you correct click back up to see the graphical contents of a folder). In the prefences bill of fare, at that place is a push to install the plugin if you lot desire it, and a push button if you lot want to uninstall the plugin.
